Actuarial Assistant

"• Take active part in liaising with Products team to understand and provide input into the development of products suitable for our target market and risk profile • Assist in benchmarking global and competitor product developments in order to develop proactivity in product conception • Build Excel pricing / profit testing models and be able to carry out reasonableness checks on the results for accuracy. • Build the pricing and other related models robustly and efficiently • Assist in the completion of statutory File & Use and regional product approval documentation; assisting in responding to the queries of Regulator/regional team by producing the necessary information • Provide actuarial input in post filing activities e.g. development of policyholder communication and carrying out the UAT of Company’s systems • Assist in providing actuarial input/support on cross functional projects other than product launches which may require pricing team’s support. • Produce adequate documentation of models, risks, assumption rationale and maintain sufficient audit trail • have made good exam progress in recent years (CT5 preferred); • possess strong understanding of general actuarial principles and the industry; • possess good working knowledge of MS Office in particular MS Excel; • be proactive in taking responsibilities and generating solutions; • be able to pick up new ideas/concepts in a short span of time • be comfortable in preparing reports and making presentations; • possess strong analytical skills - able to understand the broad implications of detailed financial data; • possess strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills; " Interested candidates can mail their resumes at
